Photography for me shares a lot with music patterns and rhythms, line and form, melody and colour. In juxtaposing images - as in putting music or musicians together its often then that the chemistry begins, the song or the conversation begins.
So I love to work with sets and series of images, in photobooks, grouped prints, slide shows where the relationship between images can be explored and revealed in various ways.
Biddy Partridge has worked for 28 years in portrait, feature and still life photography and photo-editing. 22 of those years were in Southern Africa, where her work was

widely published in books, magazines, slideshows, reports and exhibitions, and where she composed, recorded and performed with the Afro-jazz band mhepo.
She is now based in West London. Her particular skill and passion is for EDITING: identifying strong images,eliminating weak ones; working with the pictures to discover the inner relationships between them, and exploring ways of using the images within different formats.
